One-on-One Approach

The Memorial Hospital Bone & Joint Center staff is highly qualified and consists of board certified orthopedic surgeons, orthopedic nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers and licensed dieticians.

Our focus is a one-on-one approach to ensure that you are receiving the best care and treatment options for your injury. We focus on you, the patient, rather than the injury to ensure that are able to return to your normal daily activities upon recovery. Every injury is different and every person is different. Our staff recognizes this, which is why we emphasize the importance of a one-on-one approach with our patients.

Pre-operative Education

Once you and your physician have decided that you need joint replacement surgery, our pre-operative education classes will explain what to expect before, during and after your surgery. Our orthopedic registered nurses will answer all of your questions and provide you with any additional resources you may need.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is essential to your recovery. It provides ambulation and strengthening exercises, with an emphasis on safety, to ensure you adjust to your new joints and are able to return to your normal daily activities. Occupational therapy is also available. It provides instruction and training in functional mobility, body mechanics, safety and adaptations through activities of daily living. Our therapists will work with you on a one-on-one basis to ensure you are receiving the best treatment options for your situation.
