Memorial Hospital has announced Scott  Montgomery, FACHE, has joined Memorial Hospital as its Senior Vice President, Operations. Montgomery’s position encompasses the various day-to-day operations of the hospital, including Bariatric Services, Emergency Services, Environmental Services, Food Services, Industrial Medicine, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.

Montgomery, a graduate of Barry University, Bachelor of Professional Studies and University of Texas at Arlington, Master of Business Administration.

“I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Memorial Hospital team and watching as we grow, especially as we begin construction on our new Patient Tower,” Montgomery said. “There are so many exciting changes in the coming months, this is a time of positive change.”

Scott Montgomery has come to Jacksonville from Kansas City, Missouri with over 25 years of management and leadership experience in departmental operations and project management – experience in business development, planning, budgeting, marketing, project management and operations. He has hospital operations start-up experience at two facilities, and experience as project manager for a 70 million dollar hospital renovation / expansion project.  Montgomery is an active participant at the departmental and administrative levels in multiple successful accreditation surveys conducted by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
