As our city grows, so the does the demand for quality health care. To meet those needs, Memorial Hospital is upgrading the Memorial ExpressCare facility! We just started construction on a major addition. We will be adding 4 new treatment rooms, a new triage area, and a new reception area. Over the next 5 months we will be giving the entire ExpressCare center a new look.  The total cost of the project is close to $800,000 dollars.

The Memorial ExpressCare facility is part of our emergency department. It currently has nine patient rooms, x-ray and lab capabilities. It is designed to provide patients with a comfortable place to get medical attention for minor ailments or injuries. It is where we send patients who come to the ER that are not suffering from a medical emergency.

This is our second major construction project in at little over a year. In December 2009, we opened our West Tower. It provided an additional 72 beds, a new entrance, lobby and waiting areas.
