Jacksonville, FL- Memorial Hospital is proud to host a USO drive to stock the USO Welcome Center at Jacksonville International Airport. The USO Welcome Center provides our Armed Forces and families with a home-away-from-home and a place to relax, enjoy a snack, check e-mail or phone home before or after being deployed. Additionally, the JIA USO Welcome Center has a “Quiet Room” that provides families with a secluded area away from the main Center to say their private goodbyes and hellos.

“Memorial Hospital recognizes the sacrifices of these brave men and women who are putting themselves on the front lines to protect our freedom,” said Jim O’Loughlin, President & CEO of Memorial Hospital. “This USO drive is a small way to provide our service members with a little comfort of home before and after they embark on military missions.”

Throughout the month of June, patients, visitors and staff members are encouraged to donate snacks and personal care items for our military men and women.
