Jim O’Loughlin, President & CEO at Memorial Hospital, presented this month’s Positively Jax award in memory of Sgt. Joey Chancy, a long-time deputy, D.A.R.E. officer, boy scout leader and school board member in Charlton County, Georgia who passed away this year.
Sgt. Chancy led a life of service, always putting others first and giving back to his community. Brenda Hodges, a close friend of Sgt. Joey Chancy, joined Mr. O’Loughlin on Channel 4’s Morning Show to accept the award on Sgt. Chancy’s behalf.
Positively Jax is a partnership between Channel 4 and Memorial Hospital to recognize people and businesses that make a positive impact on our community.
