Volunteers are an important part of the Memorial Hospital team. For many patients and their families, our volunteers are the first people they see when they come through the door and we depend on them to help create a caring and compassionate environment for our patients.

Memorial Hospital volunteers are varied and talented — professionals, retirees, stay-at-home moms, women and men of all ages. For more information on joining our team, please email us or call our Volunteer Office at (904) 702-6975.

If you'd like to start the process of becoming a volunteer, please fill out our online form.

What You Can Expect

Our volunteer program is known as the Memorial Hospital Jacksonville Auxiliary. If you have four consecutive hours once a week or more, our Auxiliary may have a spot for you. Our volunteers assist in many areas of the hospital, providing a variety of services which include: ambassador, flower delivery, and gift shop staff. We will work with you to find a position that is just the right fit for your interests and skills.
